WHAT TYPES OF MACHINES ARE COMPATIBLE WITH ORAIN PAYMENT DEVICES?

The Orain system is so versatile that it can be installed in any self-service machine. Currently, we have Orain devices installed in different unattended environments, including vending machines, coffee machines for businesses, coffee services, automatic distribution machines, charging points, car parks, self-service washing machines, car hoovers, car washes and ticketing machines, among others.

WHAT ARE THE PRICES OF ORAIN DEVICES?

The price of the Orain devices varies depending on the purchase volume, contract permanence and the specific device required, depending on the needs of each business. Orain's pricing model is based on a monthly or annual fee, with no integration costs, no negotiations with banks, and no transaction fees.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED WITH ORAIN PAYMENT SYSTEMS?

With Orain payment terminals you can offer multiple payment options through a single device: from contactless payments (direct payment with credit and/or debit card, Google Play and Apple Pay), NFC tags, payment with QR code via external applications or even mobile payments with the Orain App that allows you to recharge through a digital wallet.

WHAT IS REAL-TIME TELEMETRY?

Real-time telemetry is the technology that enables machine administrators to obtain information about the performance of each point of sale, products, users, locations, alerts and real time stock remotely. Telemetry is used to capture and transmit essential data on inventory, sales, stock levels, maintenance and other operational aspects.

ORAIN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

CAN I INTEGRATE ALL MY POINTS OF SALE WITH THE ORAIN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM?

The Orain management system allows you to integrate and manage all your points of sale from a single platform. It doesn't matter if they are different machines, you can integrate vending machines, automatic coffee machines, automatic distribution machines, car vacuums and car wash tunnels, among many others.

WHAT DATA DOES THE ORAIN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM COLLECT?

Orain's real-time telemetry collects data on total revenue, number of purchases, number of top-ups, machine status information, active users, purchases per user, campaign information, stock and product statistics.

All the data can be visualised and analysed directly on the Orain dashboard, in a visual and easy to understand way, offering the possibility to create your own filters by product, machine, date, location, user, purchases and top-ups.

ORAIN APP

HOW DOES THE ORAIN APP CHAT WORK?

Users who have downloaded the Orain App, both in the Android and iOS versions, will have access to a chat for each machine. Through this chat they can communicate directly with the operator, ask any questions or report incidents. They only have to connect to a machine and access the chat.

User messages will be automatically answered by our chat, equipped with Artificial Intelligence capable of interpreting the received messages to generate an instant and accurate response. This automatically generated response can provide a solution in many cases to the issues or doubts that consumers may have. In any case, you can personally respond to users through our management system.

HOW DO MY CUSTOMERS PAY WITH THE ORAIN APP?

Each customer has a virtual wallet in the Orain App, where they can top up their balance. They can top up their balance by linking their credit and/or debit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay or simply by inserting coins into the machine. Once the user connects to the machine where they want to make the purchase via Bluetooth, they just need to select the desired product, and... done! The purchase is done.

The amount of the self-service machine purchase is automatically deposited in your Orain wallet. You can withdraw your money from the wallet at any time through the Orain management system and send it to your bank account.

CAN I REFUND MONEY TO A SPECIFIC APP USER?

Certainly, this is one of the many advantages that Orain offers. Enhance the shopping experience of your customers with just one click. Receive the user's incident, analyse what happened and, if you wish, refund the selected amount. No customer will be dissatisfied. Through the Orain dashboard, you can also activate the automatic refund option for all refund issues.

PAYMENTS AND COMMISSIONS

HOW DO I RECEIVE THE INCOME FROM EACH POINT OF SALE?

The income generated at all your points of sale will be accumulated in a virtual wallet, you can decide when and how much to transfer to your bank account through the Orain management system.

DO I HAVE TO PAY ANY COMMISSION FOR ISSUING REFUNDS OR PAYMENT RETURNS?

No, with Orain payment systems no commissions are charged when processing a refund or a payment reversal to a customer.

WHAT ARE CONTACTLESS PAYMENTS?

Contactless payments are all payments that are made without touching the payment device, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay and direct payment by bank card.

WHERE CAN I FIND MACHINES WITH THE ORAIN PAYMENT SYSTEM?

More and more points of sale are integrating the Orain payment system! We currently have Orain devices installed in vending machines, automatic distribution machines, coffee machines for business, coffee service, car parks, self-service washing machines, car wash tunnels, car hoovers and ticketing machines, among others.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO ORAIN DEVICES ACCEPT?

Orain devices accept multiple forms of payment:

  • Orain IoT Payments Lite mobile payment systems work with the Orain App through a virtual wallet that can be recharged with a bank card, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  • Orain IoT Payments Pro devices, in addition to working with the Orain App, also offer other payment methods:
    • NFC Tags: payment and top-up with bank card, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
    • Direct payment with credit and/or debit cards
    • Mobile payment with Google Play and Apple Pay
    • QR payment with external applications

HOW DOES THE ORAIN APP WORK?
  1. Download the Orain App on Google Play or App Store
  2. Log in with an existing account or sign up as a new user.
  3. Once logged in, connect to a machine via Bluetooth and interact with it.
  4. Top up your balance at no additional cost by inserting coins into the machine or with your mobile phone via your credit or debit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  5. Place your order at the machine, and... You're done!

IS SHOPPING WITH THE ORAIN APP FREE?

Yes, shopping with the Orain App is completely free, you can top up your virtual wallet at no additional cost as many times as you want.

HOW TO TOP UP BALANCE IN THE ORAIN APP?

The Orain App offers two options to top up your credit:

  • Credit card: Select the amount you want to top up in your virtual wallet and enter your credit or debit card details. The selected amount will be added to your balance. You can also save your card details for future top-ups.
  • Cash: through the Orain App, connect to a machine and insert coins, the added amount is transferred to your Orain balance.

HOW DO YOU KNOW IF A MACHINE HAS THE ORAIN MOBILE PAYMENT SYSTEM?

There are two ways to check:

  • Look for the Orain identification sticker on the machine.
  • Within the Orain App, click on the "Discover devices" button. If the machine has an Orain device installed, it will appear on your mobile phone so you can connect.

WHERE TO REPORT AN INCIDENT?

Use Bluetooth to connect to the machine that has failed and report any incident, problem or failure through the Orain App chat. Your messages will be sent to the machine operator as notifications and they will be able to solve your requests and refund you if necessary.

MY FAVOURITE MACHINE DOES NOT WORK WITH ORAIN, HOW CAN I REQUEST IT?

WHAT IS A DIGITAL WALLET?

A digital wallet, also known as a virtual wallet or e-wallet, is an application or online service that allows users to store, manage and make transactions with different digital payment methods. The Orain App features a digital wallet that enables online payments and transactions, securely storing the virtual versions of bank cards, so you don't have to enter your physical card details every time you want to make a transaction.

WHAT ARE THE FEATURES OF A DIGITAL WALLET?

Digital wallets provide secure and encrypted storage for user's digital data. They enable users to view and receive online payments, transfers, as well as purchase goods and services online, including viewing transaction history. Digital wallets play a key role in the adoption and use of digital assets. Users can choose from a variety, including software wallets, hardware wallets (physical devices) and online wallets, based on their needs and preferences. Each type of wallet has its advantages and security features.

HOW CAN I REQUEST A REFUND?

In compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing regulations, users will not be able to request refunds for promotions, Sodexo cards, virtual credit or cash to their bank account.

Users can refund card payments to the same card used for the top up. Funds obtained through promotions, Sodexo card, virtual credit or cash will not be refundable.

  1. Access the chat within the machine for which you wish to request the refund
  2. Click on the top bar "Balance", just below the name of the machine
  3. Under "Payment methods" → select "Card" → "Top-up list"
  4. Select the top up you wish to Refund, and a pop-up will appear with a message detailing the Refund → Click on the "Refund" button and wait for the money to be returned to the same card with which the payment was made.

WHY ISN'T THE MOBILE PHONE CONNECTING TO THE MACHINE?

If Bluetooth or location services on the mobile phone are not enabled, it is possible that the Orain App does not detect nearby machines and won’t allow the user to connect.

  1. Check that the Bluetooth of the mobile phone is activated
  2. Check that the location or GPS on the mobile phone is activated

HOW CAN I DO A FAST TOP UP?

All users who have a saved payment method can top up their balance with a simple click, selecting the amount they wish to top up.

  1. On the App home page of the App → Go to the chat of the machine you want to top up
  2. Click on the top bar "Card", just below the machine name
  3. Select the required fast top up amount → Click on the "Fast top up" button
